MEALS PROGRAM

Specifically, we need 1-3 people willing to pick up bread on a regular basis and deliver to the Civic League.  Also, we need donations of end-of-season vegetables for Meals.

MUST give us notice before delivery!

ACTIVITIES

Activity Volunteers: We’re starting a drop in program for teens on public school half days.
Need HS graduates to supervise and create activities. 
Hours 12-5 on occasional Thursdays throughout the year.
 
No commitment required to attend all days.


Ideas so far include:
  sports (basketball, indoor soccer),
  games (card/board) - Chess anyone?!
  Music
  Drama


   

PAINTING & MAINTENANCE

Construction professionals, mechanics; handyman

 and folks who would like to be involved directly or indirectly in maintenance,

repair and improvements to a historic structure [ours].
Experience required - flexible hours.

Some limits on hours worked.


 

SPECIAL EVENTS

 

 Planning for Downtown Festival scheduled for Sunday, June 1st

 


 

COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The Council is looking for a few good folks to assist on the standing committees

FINANCIAL

Financial gurus/wizards to help develop and monitor the budget;

plan fundraising events and ensure that bookkeeping procedures,

as approved by the Council, are followed.

No limit on hours worked.


MEMBERSHIP

Build general, family and business-sponsored membership and maintain
appropriate records. 
Some limits on hours worked.


OPERATIONS

Imaginative individuals for Operations Committee to plan, and
implement events, programs and activities at the Civic League.

This is the big one.
